  Saw a positive review of this restaurant on facebook and thought that we would give a try for our anniversary. We turned up latish on a Thursday evening, not having booked. There was only one other couple there, so we thought that they would want to close. However, nothing was too much bother and when they heard about our anniversary, Gonzalo made sure that we had a lovely evening.

  Great value and service. We arrived late but nothing was too much trouble. The tasting menu is really varied and tasty. Gonzalo the waiter is full of information and a very kind and friendly man. Highly recommended.

  The upstairs of the restaurant looks uninspiring, although the night view over the bay and the sound of the crashing waves was worth it. In contrast, downstairs is very atmospheric and explains the name of the restaurant - The Cave. The staff would happily have let us have had a table there, but we've decided to save that for another day.

  This place is totally UNIQUE! Eat your dinner in a real cave with the most beautiful view of the ocean. Also the nicest people and warmest welcome. Seafood, sangria, pasta...all delicious.

  If you love fresh seafood, we would highly recommend that you try La Cueva de los Abrigos

  I had dinner the day before we left. Next day I was very ill. I think it was the egg plant. My friend was ok, but had an unsturdy stumach.
